Candidates are required to have a clean, business-like appearance, good communication skills and a desire to succeed.

This position is for the creative designer. Candidates will work directly with our Creative Director. We are looking for designers we can call upon to do the initial visual concept work for client sites. Designers will be consulted prior to assigning projects. Assigned projects will be on deadlines and designers will be required to meet deadlines in normal cases. All designs will be property of Landsgate Design Group upon completion of assignment.
Generally this work consists of layout of blank web pages, establishment of the color scheme, fonts, buttons, and overall appearance theme for a site. While we will look at every applicant, we would prefer that the applicants have strong knowledge of computer graphics, have their own system or have available to them a system to work on. We work in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Corel PhotoPaint, and Adobe Illustrator. Designs must be provided in native formats and where applicable with layers still in place. Flattened images and designs will generally be rejected.
In some cases the designer will be brought in to meet with clients and staff. Prefer designers that can reach Oklahoma City. Additionally designers may be called upon to assist in "cutting" designs up for integration on web pages.

This position is just what the name implies. Coders will work with Creative Director and may work with Designers and Content Developers.
We need people that are versed in HTML, DHTML, and CSS. We would prefer you have knowledge of XML and XHTML also. Coders must be able to hand write code in notepad or some other text program. We will NOT accept coders that are dependant upon Front Page or other WYSIWYG program (and believe us, it shows in the method of coding). Must have a good working knowledge of how a page works, a general knowledge of W3C and its functions, know how to use tables and CSS for element control on the page, plus some knowledge of using scripts and applets.
We will seldom see coders so they must be self-motivated and able to work under deadlines. We prefer coders be local to reach Oklahoma City but it is not absolute. Coders may be called upon to assist in "cutting" designs up for integration on web pages. Coders will receive content from designers, clients, and content developers and will integrate this onto web pages. This position is ideal for students and freelancers.

This position is for people that are talented in writing and troubleshooting of CGI, Javascript, PHP, and other web application scripting languages. We regularly use scripting in our web pages and often need customized scripts to be either troubleshot or written from scratch.
The work will usually be rapid turn around items and will always be for web-based elements. More often than not project assignments will be in the form of email.

Payment will be at the end of the month and will require an invoice from developer prior to the 23rd of the month for work occurring during the previous 30 day period. This is a key contractor position. We are looking for people to work directly with our clients to develop the thematic concept of the site then to work up the content. This is a writer position that requires a high degree of communication and ability to glean information from busy clients.
Very often our clients are setting up their web site for the first time and, while knowing they need the site, have little idea of the content. This is where the Concept/Content Developer comes into play. A client can be assigned to a developer who will be responsible for scheduling calls or meetings, interviewing the client and then compiling the information into usable content.
Candidates must have people skills and be pleasant to work with as they will be working directly with our clients. A computer system with some form of word processor and email capability are required. Familiarity with Associated Press Style is a bonus. Spelling, word usage, attention to detail and grammatical skill are all items we look at. Material from these contractors will be via email.

This is literally a work-from-home position that combines testing existing client sites with evaluating other sites. We provide extensive testing of all sites we build. Additionally we are often called upon to provide an evaluation of an existing site that may or may not be ours, both from a design and functionality viewpoint and from a targeted market perspective as well. In order to do this we need to have an extensive list of people from varied demographics to look at web sites.
Testers will go through the sites and click on each link, ensure that all of the navigation and page layouts are matched and within specs, and test e-commerce connections and forms. Site testing can be done quickly and may be done repeatedly or periodically.
Evaluators will do the same as testers but follow an in-depth questionnaire that calls for opinions and reactions to the site as well. Evaluators will go over content, look at style, color and design, as well as evaluate the technical and functional properties of the sites. Because of the demographic nature of this work assignments will be made based upon this information.
